Pocket Rockets East Anglia Wins Cleaning Team of the Year – Suffolk at the 2026 Business Awards UK
There are moments in business that make you stop, reflect and realise just how far you’ve come. Receiving recognition as an Award-winning cleaning company and Suffolk Cleaning Team of the Year is one of those moments.
For us, winning the Cleaning Team of the Year – Suffolk award at the 2026 Business Awards UK is one of those moments.
As a relatively young business, receiving regional recognition from Business Awards UK is an incredible honour. It isn’t simply about winning an award; it’s recognition of the compassion, professionalism and dedication that our team brings to every single job.
From supporting vulnerable people living in hoarded homes to helping families following an unattended death, restoring properties after sewage leaks, tackling severe mould and assisting people returning home from hospital, every project we undertake is approached with care, dignity and respect.
This award recognises that commitment, and we couldn’t be prouder.

A Business Built on Making a Difference
When we founded Pocket Rockets East Anglia, we didn’t set out to become just another cleaning company.
We wanted to create a business that genuinely changed lives.
Having worked together for over twenty years, Laura and I knew we wanted to combine our professional experience with our personal passion for helping vulnerable people.
Many of the situations we attend are incredibly emotional. We work with individuals who may be experiencing mental health challenges, hoarding behaviours, addiction, bereavement or illness. We also work alongside social workers, housing associations, NHS teams, local authorities, charities and families who are trying to help someone move forward.
For us, specialist cleaning has never just been about restoring a property.
It’s about restoring dignity, independence and hope.
Why Winning This Award Means So Much
Winning Cleaning Team of the Year – Suffolk means so much because it recognises something that has always been at the heart of Pocket Rockets East Anglia.
Compassion.
Our work isn’t glamorous.
Some days we’re clearing heavily hoarded homes.
Some days we’re cleaning after an unattended death.
Other days we’re restoring properties affected by sewage leaks, mould, drug paraphernalia or severe neglect.
Every situation is different, but our approach never changes.
We treat every client, every family and every property with kindness, professionalism and respect.
That is what this award represents to us.

This Award Belongs to Our Entire Team
While Laura and I may have collected the award, it belongs to every member of the Pocket Rockets East Anglia team.
The people who:
- Arrive with a smile, even on the toughest days.
- Work in full PPE for hours in challenging environments.
- Support vulnerable clients without judgement.
- Carefully protect treasured family belongings.
- Take pride in restoring homes, not just cleaning them.
- Consistently go above and beyond for the people we support.
Without their dedication, this achievement simply wouldn’t have been possible.

Reflecting on an Incredible Year
Receiving this regional award has given us an opportunity to reflect on just how much has happened over the last year.
We’ve expanded our services from Cambridgeshire and Suffolk to also cover Norfolk, Essex and East London.
We’ve built strong partnerships with housing associations, NHS teams, social care professionals, charities and local authorities.
We’ve continued investing in specialist training, equipment and compliance to ensure we’re delivering the highest standards of service.
Most importantly, we’ve helped hundreds of people through some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
That, more than anything else, is what we’re proudest of.
Thank You
No award is won alone.
We would like to thank every member of our team for their hard work, compassion and professionalism.
Thank you to our clients, who trust us to support them during incredibly personal and often emotional times.
Thank you to the social workers, housing officers, NHS staff, charities, estate agents, funeral directors and partner organisations who continue to recommend our services.
And thank you to Business Awards UK for recognising the work our team does every day.
Being named Cleaning Team of the Year – Suffolk is an honour we will never forget.
Looking Ahead
Winning this award isn’t the end of our journey—it’s motivation to keep raising the bar.
As Pocket Rockets East Anglia continues to grow across Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and East London, our commitment remains the same:
To provide compassionate, professional and specialist cleaning services that genuinely make a difference.
Whether we’re supporting a vulnerable person returning home from hospital, helping a housing association prepare a property for a new tenant or restoring a home after a traumatic event, we’ll continue putting people first.
