The Challenge
This residential property was affected by craft-related hoarding combined with pet contamination, resulting in cluttered, unusable rooms and a widespread flea infestation.
Large quantities of fabric, wool, paperwork, and personal items filled the lounge and spare bedroom, with clutter spilling into other areas of the home. Floor space was obstructed throughout, creating trip hazards and significantly increasing fire risk due to the volume of combustible materials.
Strong cat odours were present, windows were partially blocked by stored items, and the property was assessed as a severe hoarding environment requiring specialist intervention.

The Process
Our team carried out a structured and sensitive hoarding clean, combined with professional flea treatment.
The property was treated daily until the infestation was fully eliminated. Non-salvageable items were removed, while remaining belongings were carefully sorted, labelled, and boxed to create organised storage.
All rooms were fully cleaned using specialist equipment and disinfectants. A bed was removed from the spare room to restore usable space, and additional goodwill items were provided to improve comfort on completion.
All work was completed using full PPE, with waste handled in line with regulations.
